Genus Monticola ini terdiri dari 14 species, yaitu :

1. Monticola cinclorhynchus (Blue Capped Rock Thrush)
Penyebaran: Afghanistan Timur, dan Himalayas Barat dan Tengah sampai Arunachal Pradesh Barat.

Subspecies dan penyebaran:

• solitarius (Linnaeus, 1758) - Africa, Eropa Selatan (Italy dan Balkans Utara), Turkey Utara dan Transcaucasia.
• longirostris (Blyth, 1847) - Greece, Turkey dan Levant sampai Tien Shan dan Himalayas.
• pandoo (Sykes, 1832) - Himalayas Tengah, China Tengah dan Timur (Hainan) dan Vietnam Utara.
• philippensis (Statius Muller, 1776) - Mongolia Timur, China, Korea, Sakhalin Selatan, Pulau Kuril Japan, Pulau Ryukyu, dan Philippines (Pulau Batanes).
• madoci Chasen, 1940 - Thailand Selatan, Peninsular Malaysia dan Sumatra Utara-Indonesia.
